What You Need
- Physical Passport or Digital Copy on your phone. In MOST cases we will make a copy and return the passport. Occasionally we will require you to leave it with us for the duration of your rental. 100% our discretion. For our customers with multiple passports we require the passport you entered Thailand with. A Russian passport without a Thai immigration stamp is not acceptable to rent from us.
- Copy of International Driving Permit, if you have it. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get one to avoid the check points targeting tourists.
- Deposit and payment for the duration of your rental. We welcome you to extend your rental as long as you like!
We accept cash and bank transfers from Thai bank accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need an international drivers license?
To rent a bike no. To legally drive in Thailand yes. Thailand honors Thai drivers licenses and motorbike licenses from ASEAN alliance countries ONLY. If you go through a checkpoint you will get a fine. But, but, but I read the law and since Thailand signed the international driving treaty my license has to be honored……ok, nobody in a brown uniform in Thailand cares. You will get a fine.
What insurance does the bike have?
Our bikes come with standard govt insurance that covers medical to a limit. The renter is 100% responsible to all property damage. If the accident is your fault your are responsible for both vehicles. If it is NOT your fault you are still responsible for damage to our bike. It is the renter’s responsibility to get payment from the other party, or make arrangements we deem acceptable for payment from the other party. If you have a accident during business hours we are happy to help if we can. If you need medical assistance the paperwork is under the seat of the bike, take it with you. Insurance company phone numbers are on the insurance page.
Can I purchase extra insurance?
From us, no. If ANY shop tells you they provide extra insurance for a fee or their bike has more than standard govt insurance, politely ask to see the policy and verify the chassis number, coverage, and dates. If the shop says they “self insure” get IN WRITING what is covered EXACTLY including the chassis number and dates. We say this because rental shops, in general, only provide the standard insurance PLUS most insurance companies in Thailand will ONLY pay a claim if a “licensed driver” was driving. This means without a valid international permit insurance will not pay any claim and may not pay without a valid Thai license.
Can I take your bike out of Pattaya?
Yes, up to 75km from our shop. ANY more than 75Km from our shop and you forfeit your deposit. BE AWARE that if you take the bike outside of Pattaya City we cannot service you. If you have mechanical issues, we will pay for the repairs, but you will need to get the bike to a shop near you. We are happy to TRY to find a shop, translate with the locals to find a shop, speak to and authorize the repairs, but that is all. We will not bring a replacement bike outside Pattaya City ( as determined by US ). If the bike cannot be fixed locally it is YOUR responsibility to get the bike back to us for repair.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes, so long as the bike has not already been booked in advance. During high season many of our bikes are booked in advance, including the one you may be renting. In this case we can swap bikes when available, but during high season we often sell out. If this happens, unfortunately, you will need to return the bike by the date and time it is due.
Do you deliver?
Yes, subject to the following conditions:
3 day or longer rental required (7 days on discount bikes).
We only offer delivery/pick up within 10 minutes of our shop as determined by us and Google maps.
We require advance notice ( at least 2 hours, 24 hours preferred. ) We offer delivery M-Sa 10:00-16:00. We do not do “can you bring it now”, unless you just get really lucky. If you need it right now hop on the back of a Bolt taxi. It is cheap and fast.
We do not deliver or pick up in the rain…..if we are scheduled to pick up the bike and it starts raining, you need to return the bike at our shop, or wait until the rain stops ( up to 16:00).
We do not offer delivery more than 10 minutes from our shop as determined by us. If we agree to pick up the bike and you change hotels, we may or may not be available

Can I change bikes?
Yes if we have bikes available you can come to our shop and change for a different same price bike during business hours.
What happens if there is a mechanical problem?
We do not carry new bikes, but we stock nice bikes. We strive to keep them maintained and in proper working order, but, it is a mechanical item. Sometimes things break with no warning. When that happens we do our best to get you a replacement bike as soon as possible. If it is the after business hours we will get on it 1st thing in the morning. During business hours, within Pattaya City, we will do our best to get you back on the road as quick as possible, either with a replacement bike or getting your bike fixed.
Recently we have sent our repair shop to pick up bikes that would not start only to find an empty gas tank. Fuel gauges are not always reliable. If the engine is turning over but not starting open the gas tank and verify there is fuel. Yes, it happens so often we put in on the website =) If the repair shop comes and all it needs is fuel, the charge is 250b.
If you forget to turn your motorbike off and the battery runs down, try the kickstart. If the kickstart does not work ask your hotel front desk or a motorbike taxi where the nearest shop is and have them jumpstart your bike. The battery will recharge while you drive. On rare occasions the lock tumblers get worn and you can remove the key without turning the bike off. Always make sure your turn the key to the left before removing it. Usually you can get a motorbike taxi to run get a battery and jumpstart your bike for a small tip.
****If you are OUTSIDE Pattaya City the ONLY service we offer is payment for mechanical issues and translation. If the bike cannot be repaired where you are is the YOUR responsibility to get the bike back to us for repair. This only applies OUTSIDE Pattaya City**** You are welcome to take you bike out of town (up to 75km) but we do not provide any service outside of payment for repairs. Flat tires are the responsibility of the renter( after the 1st 4 hours of your rental).
Who pays for repairs?
Anything mechanical is our problem and we pay for the repair. Missing pieces, broken plastic from an accident, and flat tires are your responsibility. We will help with flat tires but we do not pay for flat tires( after the 1st 4 hours). It is beyond out control if you run over something and have a flat. A new inner tube is 140-180b in the closest shop to you. If the bike has tubeless tires and can not be repaired, or an inner tube inserted, it will cost you roughly 950b for a new tire. We will not pay for a new tire if you run over something.
What if my phone falls out of the phone holder and gets broken?
Phone holders are provided 100% as a courtesy to our customers. By using it you accept 100% of the responsibility if your phone gets damaged. We will not pay for phone damage or broken screens.
Can I pick up or drop off outside of business hours?
Sometimes yes…..WITH ADVANCE NOTICE. Generally, we are available from 8:30am until 9:30pm IF arrangements are made at time of booking/pick up/delivery. A LACK OF PLANNING ON YOUR PART WILL NOT CREATE AN EMERGENCY ON OUR PART. We will not drop whatever we are doing with our family to come meet you if you do not plan in advance. Your option is to leave the bike, full of fuel, at our shop and lock the keys under the seat. We can transfer your deposit to a Thai bank account or you can get it next trip. After hours we usually allow drop offs at our home before 21:30 with advance notice. We have a children so show up before 21:30 or don’t come. =)
Read this again….a lack of planning on your part will not create a crisis for us. You know when your flight/bus/taxi is. Make arrangements at the time you rent the bike. If you fail to make arrangements in advance you may leave the bike at our shop, full of fuel, and we can transfer your deposit to a Thai bank account.
How much is the late fee?
100b per hour if you do not make arrangements BEFORE your due back time. Late fee starts at your due back time. We tell you what day and what time your bike is due back. If you feel this policy is excessive return your bike on time or contact us BEFORE your due time. Phone battery dead? Borrow one for the person standing next to you. Our number is on your contract, your key tag, your bike sticker, the business card we gave you.
Can I turn in my monthly rental early?
Of course!! There is no penalty for returning early. However, if you rent for 1 month and return after 3 weeks there is no refund. If you rent for a month and return after a week you are charged the weekly rate. Monthly rentals get a discounted rate. Less than monthly does not.
